"As we gathered together in our yellow ‘Walk 10’ t-shirts we were anxious to start the walk. The weather was perfect – not too hot, not too cold, and the atmosphere was incredible! Many of us had never done an organized walk before, and we were blown away by the amount of people and the general buzz that was in the air.

The walk itself was amazing. Our nearest Marie Curie walk was in Tatton Park, Cheshire, and there was beautiful scenery (and great company) at every turn. We walked past majestic lakes and wildlife, even seeing some sheep and deer! After we completed the walk, we were treated to some great music, a delicious picnic and some much needed rest and relaxation. Finally, we watched the firework show which was great - a perfect ending to a wonderful evening.

As a team we managed to raise over £335 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and had a great time doing it. We already can’t wait for the next event."
